How to find out who owns a domain name ? Where can I get more information about it ? IS there any tool for that ?

There are several websites, which provides a detailed summary like: date of registration, expiry, service provider, and owner name (individual or company), and address and so on. The following are some the free websites:

http://whois.domaintools.com/
http://www.allwhois.com/
http://whois.org/

Enter the required domain name for example: www.hydtechwriter.com and you then see a summary of the domain name.
