I have heard that world will end in 2012, is it true?

I have been hearing a lot of theories about the end of the world in 2012.Is it a fake report or does anyone have any proof for it?
Similar speculation was made about Tsunami after the solar eclipse, which turned out to be fake.So I'm trying to be optimistic.What do you guys think?

There’s no scientific evidence to suggest that our world is coming in a 4 year window, or else we’d have likely heard of it. Unless global warming increases at an unforseen rate or some other predicted natural disaster occurs sooner and at a much greater magnitude than anyone had thought.So think positive and be optimistic!!!
