Is there any difference between a pen drive and a USB drive or are they the same? Why is a "pen drive" called so? Where did it get its name from? What is the full form of "USB"?

Pen drive derives its name from a Latin name "Penisylvania Livrosyrosys" and USB drive derives its name from an American name "Utility Small drive"
Though both have the same property. They all go in and either pumps in or pulls out.
Yes there is a huge difference, pen drive is name of a memory device in particular, where as USB drive is a general term, it can be referred to a USB port, a pen drive, or any memory device let it be flash, hard disk . So the main difference is one is a general term, where as the other is a specific name.
